Welcome to LSE Entrepreneurs, a society which aims to bring together outstanding students, allow them to flourish and push them into starting their own businesses.
If you want to become the richest person in the world, live your life like Richard Branson, or enjoy the freedom of being a philanthropist like Bill Gates then this is the right place for you.
Thinking big is all very good. After all ff you don’t look at the sky it will be difficult to find the right way to get there, however staring at it like a lemon from a tree will get you no-where, or even will lead you to smashing the ground when you are ripe and mature. Sad, but true. That is why we encourage you to get out of the shell of comfort and make the first step.
They say starting is 51% of the project, so why not get most of it done by getting to know the right people at our weekly Entrepreneurs Tuesday event or learning how to write a business plan and run a business at Wednesday Master classes series run by Careers@LSE?
When you get the right team, why not win some cash or find some funding through our annual business plan competition Pitch it! and for those who need encouragement, ‘apprentice style competition’ EPIC might be the best way to get going with other students from all over the world.
We are the society for passionate people who want to look at their life from a slightly different perspective and maybe take the reigns into their own hands. You don’t have to be running a business, or be certain you want to do that in the future, but all the members want to make a difference. LSE Entrepreneurs is for ‘actors’, those who act upon their desires. If you want it, there is no reason why you should not reach out for it.
So if being the Forbes 500 is what you dream of then don’t wait for it to happen, get out and become an actor of your own play!
